We are hiring for a Full-Time Smokehouse Clerk with a wage range of $15.00 - $18.00 at our location in Edmonton, AB. (Glenora location)

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing recipe ingredients for smoked products (bacon, jerky, pepperoni, sausage, etc.)
• Assist in the mixing, stuffing, hanging, smoking, and cooling of products
• Maintain a clean and sanitized work area
• Properly handle and store food by adhering to food safety policies and procedures
• Package and display smoked products for purchase
• Handling customer service inquiries and providing a positive customer experience

What you Bring:

• Positive, can-do personality
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced team-oriented environment
• Comfortable working during peak grocery deli hours (i.e. evenings, daytime, weekends, and holidays)
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50lbs
• Experience in a smokery or butchery setting is an asset
