About the role
Job Summary
We are a small community pharmacy attached to a pediatric walk in clinic.
We have customers of all ages walking though our doors and we take pride in our excellent customer service.
Currently we are looking for full-time assistants with previous pharmacy experience to work days, evenings and weekends.
Full Time Availability: Days/Evenings/Weekends
Responsibilities and Duties
-Provide Customer Service to Patients and Customers
-Receive, Enter (computer), and Prepare Prescriptions from Patients
-Maintain Inventory Control
-Clerical Organization (Filing, Scanning, Manual Billings/Reversals)
-Cash Duties (use of POS, Cash Handling, Maintaining Inventory)
-General Housekeeping
Qualifications and Skills
-Previous Experience in Dispensary
-Knowledge of Pharmacy Software (Kroll an asset)
-Computer Skills Required
-Excellent Oral and Written Communication Skills
-Exceptional Interpersonal, Organization, and Problem Solving Skills, Decision-Making, Conflict Resolution, and Critical Thinking Abilities
-Ability to Function Effectively in a Team with a Strong Customer Focus
-Proven Record of Attendance and Punctuality
-Ability to Perform the Physical Demands of the Position
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
