The Opportunity We are currently seeking an experienced full-time Parts Manager to lead the daily operations of our Parts Department. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with agricultural and construction equipment, thrives in a customer-facing environment, and takes pride in maintaining accurate inventory and delivering excellent service to both customers and the Service Department. Located in the heart of Midwestern Ontario’s agricultural community, this position offers the opportunity to work closely with local farmers and contractors while enjoying the lifestyle of a rural community. This is an in-person position located just outside Listowel, ON. Applicants should be within commuting distance or willing to relocate. We take pride in helping our employees develop careers that reward, enrich and grow with the individual.Competitive salary ranging from $70,000 - $75,000 annually PLUS eligibility to a year-end bonusWage negotiable based on experienceComprehensive benefits package including dental, vision, pharmaceutical, life insurance and disability insuranceAdditional perks including employee discounts and a casual dress codeConsistent work schedule Monday to Friday, and working two Saturdays per month A collaborative team environment that is innovative, adaptable, and approachableEnjoy working with people and feel valued for your hard work What the role entails:Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Parts Department to ensure efficient service to customers and the Service DepartmentManage all aspects of parts inventory including forecasting demand, ordering, stock levels, and inventory accuracyImplement and maintain effective inventory control processes, including cycle counts, reconciliation of discrepancies, and monitoring of slow-moving or obsolete inventorySource, price, and sell parts and accessories to existing and prospective customers based on their needsProvide advice, generate quotes, and complete orders as per customer requestsWork closely with the Service Department to ensure Technicians have timely access to parts required to complete repairs and maintenance workReview and approve parts orders and ensure shipments are received accurately and entered into the dealership management systemMaintain retail sales floor to meet dealership standards and enhance customer engagement with available products Support and contribute to dealership sales initiatives by identifying opportunities to increase parts and accessory salesAssist in training and supporting Parts Department staff where applicable and contribute to continuous improvement of departmental processes What it takes to do the role:Experience working in an agriculture, heavy equipment, construction equipment, truck, or automotive dealership in a parts roleDetailed knowledge of agriculture and construction equipment and parts requiredExperience with Kubota, John Deere, Case IH, New Holland, or similar equipment is considered an assetPrevious exposure to dealer specific management software and knowledge of inventory management systems is considered an assetAbility to lift and carry up to 50 pounds at a time What you bring to the team:Your personal attributes are as important to us as your qualifications.
