Otter Co-op is now accepting applications for a Part-Time Liquor Store Associate at our Angry Otter Liquor @ Whatcom located in Abbotsford, BC. What you’ll do: Reporting to the Liquor Store Manager, responsibilities for this position include the following: Provide excellent customer service to guests in a courteous, efficient manner Process register transactions, refunds, and returns, activate gift cards Ensure register drawer is balanced at the end of shift following company procedures Stock, face, and rotate products on the shelves Receive, check, and put away deliveries Keep store and storage areas clean and organized Utilize product knowledge to promote sales Contribute to the Team in living the Corporate Values of Integrity, Community and Excellence Perform other duties as assigned Why it matters: Our team provides a range of products and services to support our member-owners. The Liquor Store Associate is responsible for providing excellent customer service, processing transactions, and maintaining store organization. They also handle product stocking, inventory rotation, and ensure the register drawer is balanced at the end of each shift.

Candidates must be at least 19 years old, possess a Serving it Right license, and have open availability for various shifts. Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for an 8-hour shift is required.
