Part-time Sales Associate (CA28 New West)

Job description We are looking for a Part-time Sales Associate to join us in our New West location. Address: 800 Carnarvon St, New Westminster, BC V3M 0G3 Responsibilities: · Greet guests as they enter the shop, ask whether they would like assistance with anything and provide help if needed in a friendly, hospitable, and efficient manner. · Enthusiastic, friendly, and energetic with a genuine desire to provide outstanding service. · Ability to multitask, while being attentive to customers and remaining flexible to the needs of the business. · Operates cash register and handles cash payments and credit card processing. · Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices. · Straighten, arrange, stock and dust off merchandise, maintain shelving areas as directed by management and participate in the designing of displays in windows and on tables. · Ability to work as part of a team and take initiative independent of direct supervision. · Ensure health and safety standards are followed. · Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications: · Eligible to work in Canada. · Flexible work hours and times. Skills & Experience Required: · A friendly and energetic personality with customer service focus. · Excellent communications and interpersonal skills. · Merchandising skills. · Ability to lift merchandise weighing up to 35 pounds. · Hands-on experience with POS transactions.

The Sales Associate is responsible for greeting guests, providing helpful service, and managing daily shop operations including cash transactions. They also maintain the store's appearance by stocking merchandise and creating attractive displays.

Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada and possess a friendly, energetic personality with strong communication skills. Experience with POS systems and the ability to lift up to 35 pounds are required.
