Customer Service Representative (May 7 - 10)

Universal Music Canada is excited to be opening a pop-up shop in Toronto. If you want to experience retail in its best form, in the music industry, the chance is here! It will be fun, and fast-paced, with lots of energy, lots of people, and loads of artist products.

How You’ll Lead:

  • Assist customers with purchase decisions
  • Retrieve merchandise from sale floor and stockroom (i.e. keeping the stockroom running effectively and productively by ensuring merchandise stays stocked and organized)
  • Representing Universal Music Canada in an energetic and friendly manner
  • Ensure the accurate receipt, organization, inspection, and processing of all incoming merchandise
  • Processing orders and transactions
  • Provide proactive customer outreach
  • Love of a fast-moving work environment
  • Handling customer inquiries
  • Other duties as assigned

What You Bring:

  • Must be 18+
  • Customer Service and sales experience within retail
  • Ability to anticipate customer needs
  • Must have open availability, working days, evenings and weekends
  • Experience with customer service point of sale platforms
  • Positivity, passion, a competitive edge, and opinions you can stand behind
  • Bold, ambitious, creative thinking; an entrepreneurial style and a growth mindset
  • Excellent communication skills anchored by honesty, approachability, and an open mind

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of standing and walking throughout the retail space
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
