Overview Fountain Tire Calgary (Northland Drive), an established automotive repair shop, is looking for a friendly and dedicated individual to join our team as an Inside Sales Associate! Please note: This is a temporary position to provide support for the busy season, with the opportunity for subsequent permanent employment. At Fountain Tire, our associates are our number one asset. Competitive compensation starting at $19 to $20 per hour We will develop your skills and certifications with our excellent training program & opportunity for advancement The opportunity to work with an excellent team and great customers Regular shift schedules Great discounts for you and your family on tires, parts, and mechanical services Primary Responsibilities: Creating work orders and arranging bookings and communicating them to the technicians Provide service quotes and receive customer authorization for work to be performed on vehicles, finalize sales, and complete customer follow up. Provide proactive calls to customers to determine their satisfaction level with the service they have received Recommend tire service, specialty tire service, wheel, and mechanical service to customers Ensure that all products are billed accurately to the customer and process all necessary information in the computer system. Keep promotional material updated in the showroom. Participate in all safety initiatives, as required or assigned, to guarantee safety at Fountain Tire including customers and staff, on the road, site, or field. Complete assigned e-learning and safety courses and adhering to standards and policies as described in learning modules. Assist in inventory management through documentation processes and annual inventory counts What does it take to get on track? Previous experience in the automotive repair, tire, or sales industry is preferred but not required Must be willing to work evenings and weekends as required Excellent listening and communication skills with the ability to identify customer needs and provide recommendations Working knowledge of passenger, light truck and, specialty tires and mechanical services The ability to lift up to 50lbs as required Must possess a valid driver’s license and be able to provide a satisfactory passenger or commercial Driver’s Abstract Excellent customer service and a great attitude are a must A team player who takes pride in their work At Fountain Tire, you’d have a great place to work!
