Our Distribution Centre and our Canadian Online Webstore is located in Canmore, Alberta. Job Description Assistant Store Manager As a member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for creating the optimal employee experience for our colleagues to ensure they feel: valued, empowered and engaged in their team. It will be your responsibility to not only lead others, but also yourself and the business. What You Will Be Doing Engaging with customers and practicing the Fairmont Stores Selling Standards Training, motivating and engaging colleagues with the ability to inspire and create a passionate team Achieve or exceed monthly sales targets and year end budgets Inventory management and merchandising, maintaining the cleanliness of the Store Qualifications Your Experience and Skills Include: 3+ years of previous Retail Management experience required Proven ability to lead and engage a team and take direction from Store Manager Demonstrates initiative to achieve financial goals, should have a self starter attitude to make those goals a reality Professionalism, selling skills and attention to detail should be some your top qualities Physically fit to stand and walk for the duration of the shift, maintain appearance of the store, able to lift up to 50lbs and climb three step ladder Ability to communicate effectively with guests, colleagues and other stores What Is In It For You Employee benefit card offering discounted rates at Accor worldwide Staff Discount with Fairmont Stores Opportunity to develop your talent and grow within Fairmont Stores and across the world with Accor Additional Information Visa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
