Retail sales manager

Education: Expérience: Education Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience Tasks Manage staff and assign duties Study market research and trends to determine consumer demand, potential sales volumes and effect of competitors' operations on sales Determine merchandise and services to be sold Implement price and credits policies Locate, select and procure merchandise for resale Develop and implement marketing strategies Plan budgets and monitor revenues and expenses Determine staffing requirements Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages Recruit, hire and supervise staff and/or volunteers Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations Experience 1 year to less than 2 years Support for newcomers and refugees Assists with immediate settlement needs of newcomers and/or refugees (for example: housing, transportation, storage, childcare, winter clothing, etc.) Recruits newcomers and/or refugees who were displaced by a conflict or a natural disaster (for example: Ukraine, Afghanistan, etc.) Supports newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition Support for youths Offers on-the-job training tailored to youth Offers mentorship, coaching and/or networking opportunities for youth Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth Durée de l'emploi: Permanent Langue de travail: Anglais Heures de travail: 30 to 40 hours per week

Manage daily retail operations, including staff supervision, budget monitoring, and merchandise procurement. Develop marketing strategies and resolve customer complaints to ensure business growth.

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent experience and between 1 to 2 years of relevant experience. Candidates should be able to support newcomers, refugees, and youth in the workplace.
