Role Description The Retail Store Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Red Deer, AB. This role oversees daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, merchandising, inventory management, and ensuring the sales floor is well-presented and aligned with brand standards. The Retail Store Manager leads and coaches the store team, sets schedules, supports training, and ensures a high level of customer service and satisfaction. The role includes monitoring sales performance, managing cash handling, implementing retail loss prevention practices, and resolving customer issues promptly and professionally. The Retail Store Manager collaborates with ownership or senior leadership to execute promotions, meet revenue targets, and maintain a safe, welcoming environment for customers and staff. Qualifications Strong customer-focused skills, including Customer Satisfaction and Customer Service. Effective interpersonal abilities, including clear Communication with customers and team members. Experience in Store Management, including overseeing staff, operations, and daily retail activities. Knowledge of Retail Loss Prevention practices to safeguard assets and minimize shrink. Previous retail or hospitality management experience, preferably in a boutique or specialty store environment. Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team in a fast-paced, customer-facing setting. Solid organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills. Comfort with basic point-of-sale systems, cash handling, and reporting. Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and peak seasons as required.
