*About the Role* We are looking for a motivated and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team. In this role, you will help lead daily operations, support and develop team members, and ensure every guest leaves satisfied. If you thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment and take pride in your craft ? especially on the grill ? we want to hear from you. *Responsibilities* * Assist in managing day-to-day restaurant operations and staff * Lead and oversee closing procedures, ensuring the location is secure and ready for the next day * Operate and maintain the griddle station with a focus on quality burger preparation * Train, coach, and motivate team members to uphold performance and service standards * Monitor food safety, cleanliness, and compliance with health regulations * Handle customer concerns professionally and with a focus on resolution * Support inventory management, ordering, and supply tracking * Step in for the General Manager as needed *Requirements* * Previous experience in a supervisory or management role in food service * Hands-on experience working a griddle ? burger/grill cooking skills required * Availability to work closing shifts, including weekends * Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills * Ability to work on your feet in a fast-paced environment * Food handler certification preferred (or willingness to obtain) Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $20.00 per hour Experience: * Kitchen: 2 years (preferred) Language: * English (required) Location: * Toronto, ON M6G 1J9 (preferred) Work Location: In person
